Bear Yuba Land Trust Gets Funds for Rice’s Crossing

The Bear Yuba Land Trust has taken another step closer to acquiring 2700 acres on the Yuba River that will connect trails between the Middle and South forks of the Yuba at Rice’s Crossing. The Land Trust recently received a grant from the State Water Resources Agency, for River Parkway Development.

Coleman-Hunt says it will take a couple of years once the purchase is complete before the trails will be accessible, but once completed, will provide multiple recreational opportunities for the public.

The Rice’s Crossing purchase will connect over 8500 acres along six miles of Yuba River access.
