Bear Yuba Land Trust Trail Campaign Underway

The Bear Yuba Land Trust is in the middle of their campaign to raise $30,000 in 30 days to help keep existing trails strong and add new trails to its extensive system. Lands Access Manager, Shaun Clarke, says one of the more ambitious projects is called the “Pines to Mines Trail”. It will connect Nevada City to the high country in the eastern part of Nevada County, and it’s led by District 5 Supervisor Richard Anderson…

Other projects include the Wolf Creek Trail in Grass Valley, the Sugar Loaf Trail in Nevada City, and restoring the Independence Trail, the nation’s first wheelchair accessible wilderness trail, north of town.
