Big Bear Sighting Off Brunswick Rd

A big brown bear spotted off Brunswick Road near Loma Rica Road this morning.
A mother and daughter on their way into Grass Valley on Brunswick Road caught sight of the bear as they were driving by around 10:00 AM.

Chelsea Cummings and her six year old daughter said the bear was pretty much minding its own business and disappeared when they tried to get a second look.

A bear that was getting into garbage cans was spotted in the Cascade Shores area earlier this month. Residents are reminded to exercise extreme caution if you come upon a bear.
