Biotechnology Fueling California Economy

California’s economic development is being fueled by a technology sector that combines multiple industries. Biotechnology, the combination of technology and biological science, is contributing billions of dollars to the economic growth of California in medicine, agriculture, and renewable energy. Scott Whitaker the president of Biotechnology Industry Organization International says biotechnology touches a number of industries that focus on healing, feeding, and fueling the world.
