Bizarre Behavior Leads to Arrest

A man on Mystic Mine road was acting so bizarre, neighbors called law enforcement. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies responded to the thirteen thousand block to a report of a man laying in the road. Sheriff Royal says 65 year old Donald Neubauer was found at his home. When Neubauer was contacted by deputies, he was concerned about bombs being dropped.

Neubauer was found to have a five thousand dollar warrant for his arrest from Sierra County. The Sheriff says while being booked into the jail; he kicked one of the Correctional Officers in the leg. This incident prompted a new charge of assaulting a officer on Neubauer.
