Black Friday Small Business Saturday Good in Grass Valley

Business was good in Grass Valley following Thanksgiving Day. Traditionally Black Friday and Small Business Saturday are busy in town and without any craft fairs or special events going because of COVID restrictions, shoppers took advantage of what the local community is offering. Dave Williams at Williams’ Stationery said business was good.

At Beautiful, another business on Main Street, the owner said business was steady, but different this year.

Businesses along the Downtown Promenade on Mill Street, including Yuba Blue were seeing a good flow- even metering customers to avoid overcrowding.

The Grass Valley Downtown Holiday Market Shopping Experience, taking the place of Cornish Christmas this year, is every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with businesses staying open until 8 pm along with outdoor dining.
