Body Found in Penn Valley Fire

Coroner’s officials are trying to identify a body found in a fire in Penn Valley. Chief Deputy Coroner Rich Fevinger says human remains were found in a mobile home in Penn Valley. Penn Valley firefighters found the mobile home fully engulfed in flames when they arrived at the Creekside Mobile Home Park shortly after 6am Sunday. The victim was found in the rear bedroom of the home. Fevinger says he’s hopeful that dental records can confirm the identity…

The body was burned beyond recognition. Fire investigators are working to determine the causer of the fire.
