Body Found in Rollins Identified

A body pulled from Rollins Reservoir has been identified. Nevada County Undersheriff Joe Salivar says deputies from the Nevada County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office were called to the a boat launch after NID employees located what they believed to be a dead body in Rollins Lake Reservoir on December 8th.

Once his identification was learned, it was discovered Mr. Cavallaro was in the system.

Cavallaro was reported missing on December 4th.The circumstances regarding Mr. Cavallaro’s disappearance and death are still under investigation.
