Body Found in South Yuba River Pool

A body has been found in Nevada County that is believed to be that of a missing Elk Grove man. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says according to reports, Omar Chaar was celebrating his 25th birthday with some friends in the Emerald Pools area on the South Yuba River near Bowman Lake…

Next of kin has been notified, but the body has not been positively identified as Chaar’s. Royal says they hope to have positive identification in the next couple of days.
