BOLO issued for Auburn Bank Robber

Auburn Police are on the lookout for a bank robber.  Yesterday morning at 11:20 a.m. there was a bank robbery at the U.S. Bank located in the 700 block of High Street, Auburn, CA. The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 38 to 48 years of age, and 5′ 7″ to 5′ 8″ tall, short blond or graying hair, slender to medium build. He was wearing a dark colored baseball cap with a white or light colored bill and some sort of red logo on the front left portion of the hat, a red long sleeve plaid or flannel style shirt, blue jeans and dark colored footwear.

The suspect demanded money and he fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. It is unknown if the suspect had a weapon as none was seen in the commission of this crime.
This is an ongoing investigation with limited information available at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 530-823-4234. This number will be answered 24-hours a day.
