Bomb Threat Causes Evacuations on Lower Sierra College Drive

A flurry of police activity on Sierra College Blvd near East Main Street is the result of a bomb threat in the 100 Block of Sierra College Drive in Grass Valley. Evacuation of CORR- Community Recovery Resources buildings is in progress. Traffic is moving  through the area. According to Sgt Alex Gammelgard of the Grass Valley Police Department the threat was called in around 4:00 PM.

The severity of the threat is unknown.  It will take at least another hour until the area is cleared.
