The Bowling Teams are forming for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowling for Kids Sake annual event. It will be Saturday March 5th at Prosperity Lanes in Grass Valley and it is a major fundraiser for the organization to provide mentoring programs in the schools and one on one matches. Lindy Beatie is Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Nevada County.

And she says here’s room for many more. The event has a pirate theme this year and costumes are recommended. They do ask a $100 entry fee of every player but Beatie says it can be done by asking 10 friends to each donate 10 dollars.

People can come to just watch the bowlers. and buy some raffle tickets for the prizes.,, One is dinner for 6 prepared and served after hours at Weiss Brothers Nursery….and there’s a chance to win tickets to the Concourse D’ Elegance at Pebble Beach.
