Brian Dahle Concerned About Supply Chain Crisis

Nevada County’s state senator says more intense efforts are needed to solve the supply chain crisis, especially with the holiday season approaching. And Brian Dahle says that includes finding more qualified and experienced truckers. He says the state also needs to ensure their safety, along with other related workers, who are tackling what he calls the “Mount Everest” of containers awaiting them…

Speaking recently at a hearing of the Select Committee on Ports and Movement, Dahle would also like to see an easing of state regulations. That includes the upgrading of shipping equipment to meet new port standards…

Dahle also says the California Air Resources Board and local air districts haven’t stopped, delayed, or paused their regulations that are in direct conflict with the reality of resolving the crisis. He expects the Board will assess excessive fines and penalties on companies and ports.
