Bridge of Giving Sunday

This year is the ninth year for a chance to donate food, enjoy a piece of history, enjoy the Yuba River, and experience the joy of giving. The annual Bridge of Giving takes place this Sunday. Organizer, Pamela Morey, says its a wonderful event for everyone.

Morey says its a great time to take a walk by the river, maybe have a picnic, and just spend time with friends. It’s also a great learning opportunity for children.

Morey says any non-perishables are accepted and of course money is also a good option because it allows the Food bank more flexibility.

The Bridge of Giving at the Old Highway 49 Bridge over the Yuba River just a few miles north of Nevada City Sunday.
