Brown’s Valley Fire Contained

A vegetation fire started by an excavator around 2:30 near the town of Loma Rica is contained. The fire grew to be approximately 5 acres and had been burning in brush and grassland. Communications Officer Mark Zayus says that multiple resources responded to the call.

Multiple air resources supported ground crews. Mop was estimated to be complete around 8:00 PM.
