For those of you who use Brunswick Road, be aware that it will be closing soon, so they can repair that slipout just south of the Greenhorn-East Bennett Street intersection. The Board of Supervisors approved a 635-thousand dollar contract today with Hansen Brothers to get the repairs underway. Public Works Director Trisha Tillotson says the project won’t take that long, but will mean some inconvenience…
With the go-ahead from the Board, work will begin almost immediately…
That would put the timeline for completion in the middle of next month. There had already been some work at the site, with a drain put in to try to remove as much moisture from the ground as possible. Part of the roadway gave way in February of last year, but has been driveable with just a shoulder closure.
