It’s a pleasant surprise from the Nevada County Road Department. The Brunswick Road emergency project will be done early…
Principal Civil Engineer Joshua Pack says the road has been repaired, they dug up, removed, and replaced four thousand cubic yards of road fill, and installed underground drainage pipes. Pack says the underground drains they put in before they started the main road work, really worked…
Part of the roadway near the East Bennett-Greenhorn Road intersection gave way because of saturation during last winter’s storms. Pack says paving is being done today, and then they’ll do the striping, and then have the roadway open by this weekend. The original completion date was supposed to be August 11.
