Building Code Changes Before Grass Valley Council

The first Grass Valley City Council meeting of the new year should be a rather short one. There is one public hearing on the agenda which will likely be of little controversy. City Community Development Director Tom Last says the council will likely adopt an ordinance which will make some changes in the building code…

The matter will be open for public comment, but Last doesn’t see a lengthy discussion. The council is also expected to approve a 15-thousand dollar expenditure for a backup generator for the police department, and finalize committee appointments for the new term. The meeting starts at 7pm at City Hall.
