Pettit says the female suspect then wandered over to the male homeowner’s pickup, saw the keys were in the ignition, and drove off. A short time later, she was spotted by deputies coming out of Bella Sera Court. She was pulled over. But when deputies approached the pickup, she took off again. She soon after crashed into some ornamental rocks by the driveway of a nearby home, with the pickup ending up on its side. 37-year-old Patricia Shoup was arrested after being checked out at Sutter-Roseville hospital…but not for injuries but regarding substance use, according to Pettit. The male suspect has not been located.
