Burglary Suspect Apprehended on Mill Street

A burglary suspect was taken into custody after he allegedly broke into an occupied house and the fled when confronted by the resident. Grass Valley Police Sgt Clint Bates says that police have been on the look out for a suspect from a burglary that occurred  February 6th on Mill St. On Sunday the call came in of a second break-in at a different Mill St residence on the same block.

Officers conducted a search of the area and located a granny unit behind a residence that appeared to have had the door kicked in.

Cline,-Jared1Jared Cline was taken into custody following a short scuffle as he attempted to resist arrest.
The suspect from the February 6th burglary identified as Boyd Barney is still wanted by Grass Valley Police.
