A suspect has been taken into custody following a burglary that occurred shortly after midnight this morning (9/27)  at the Rare Earth Yard on La Barr Meadows Road.  Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain, Jeff Powell says  24 year old Christopher Robert Wilson,  was seen by a night guard who was working  at the adjacent Kilroy’s yard, and the  watchman reported the suspicious activity.

A window to the business office of Rare Earth had also been pried open.   Wilson who is on probation from Placer County was arrested and charged with Burglary, petty theft and trespassing and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. He listed his residence as Pahrump, Nevada.
