Burglary Suspect Walks Into Police Officers

A man wanted for a theft was apparently not trying to hide from Police.  Sergeant Joe Matteoni says Monday afternoon 21 year old Douglas MacDuff of Grass Valley walked right in front of a police car on Main Street at Stewart Street. The Sergeant says MacDuff was taken into custody without incident.

MacDuff was wanted for putting several clothing items in a bag and sprinting out the front door of JC Penny. Several of the sales personnel recognized MacDuff as having attended high school with him.
