Burn Permits Required Starting Thursday

Fire season is just around the corner and with the dry winter conditions, CalFire is preparing for the potential increase in the number of fires that may start as a result of debris burns. Tolmachoff also says that preparing your defensible space around your dwelling should also be a priority prior to fire season.
Permits are available at local fire department during open hours. If you are out and about you can always go by CALFIRE Station 20 at the corner of Ridge Road to pickup a permit. Tolmachoff says debris piles do have restrictions and limitations.*
