Business SCAM Hits Nevada County

Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal has a warning for local businesses about a credit card scam that has hit at least on fencing supply business owner in the community. The people doing the scam say they’re from a company called Industrial contractors and make large purchases with stolen American Express or other credit cards.

Royal says the caller asks for their purchase to be expedited to a warehouse in San Diego….from there the sheriff’ has leaned that the goods are shipped across the boarder.

The Sheriff did not disclose the amount of the fraudulent purchase already made to the one businesses.
