Yesterday the Nevada County Narcotics Task force conducted several searches that netted 11 arrests and seizure of Methamphetamine, Heroin, two fire arms, and indicators of Drug Sales. Lt Bill Smethers says the first search was at 9:30 yesterday morning at the 600 block of LeDuc Street where 33 year old Trent Crovo was living.

During the search detectives located a quarter ounce of methamphetamine a small amount of Heroin, drug paraphernalia, scales and packaging material and two pistols. Mr. Crovo was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine for sale maintaining a residence where drugs are used and sold, possession of a controlled substance while armed and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and violation of parole.

Next the Narcotics task force went to a home in the 300 block of Pleasant street about 2 pm to conduct a probation search on a Shannon Oroszi, 29, who was on probation out of Sutter County…Once inside the residence they located several used syringes and two more people showed up a Nathanial Hubbard and Yvette Hubbard.

Yvette Hubbard, who was 7 months pregnant was found to be under the influence of Heroin and was taken into custody.

Later that evening at 5 pm Lt. Smethers says the Task Force went to the 400 Block of Dalton Street in Grass Valley to conduct a search on a Kevin Harr who has search terms on his probation.

The House is also located next door and across the street from two schools in Grass Valley.

Kevin Harr was arrested for possession of a controlled substance sales of the pills and maintaining a residence where drugs were used and sold, possession of drug paraphernalia and identity theft. Thea Stratton Taylor was arrested for maintaining a residence where drugs were used or sold and possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Alix Anderson was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and a Corbin Shakely was arrested for possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a controlled substance.
