Butterfly Garden Of Remembrance This Weekend

If you drive up the Golden Center freeway near Nevada City this Memorial Day Weekend, you’ll also see hundreds of what appear to be butterflies “growing” on the lawn of the Hooper and Weaver Mortuary. Davis points out that you can also pay tribute to someone special who is not deceased. Cards are mailed out each year to a lot of Hospice supporters…

All proceeds from the Butterfly Garden of Remembrance directly support the compassionate care and professional end-of-life medical services provided by Hospice of the Foothills. And there’s still time to fill out a card on Friday that can be obtained at either the Hospice or Hooper and Weaver Mortuary Office. The garden is open Saturday through Monday from 10am to 4pm.
