Cal Fire: Bennett Fire is Out

The fire started yesterday around noon, and burned 8.3 acres. Salas says there’s still no word yet on how it started…

Salas told KNCO yesterday that several 9-1-1 callers were concerned about people camping in the area, but that is still under investigation. There were some voluntary evacuations, but no buildings were burned and no one was hurt.
