That could mean the mandatory evacuation orders in the Rough and Ready area could be lifted soon. Containments numbers are up–45 percent for the Cascade Fire, 52 percent for the Lobo Fire, and 89 percent for the McCourtney Fire. CalFire Public Information Officer Jeremy Rahn says a total of 217 structures have been destroyed throughout the complex, with 111 of them homes. The Nevada County Office of Emergency Services is reporting 22 homes destroyed in Rough and Ready. CalFire would not confirm that.
