Calling All Men to Get In the Game to End Domestic Violence

April is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and a special event for men is being called for Wednesday evening.

The event is being hosted by the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition.  DVSAC Executive Director Gayle Guest-Brown says her husband Ernest Brown has had special training in this field and will facilitate the event just for men.

The event will include the showing of a movie that highlights why well-meaning men can’t just be on the sidelines.

The community forum on violence against women will focus on how we got here and ways to change.
