CalStar Called for Wolf Rd. Accident

There was one serious injury accident over the Memorial Holiday weekend in Western Nevada County. CHP Officer Mike Steele says it happened Friday at  about 3:30 in the afternoon on Wolf Road west of Brian Lane.

Shayna McDonald was traveling westbound on Wolfe Road and Fraser was traveling eastbound.

The left front tire and wheel of McDonalds Chevrolet collided with the left front section of the Dodge truck Frazer was driving.  The Dodge became disabled in the eastbound lane and McDonald’s Chevy S10 pickup continued traveling westbound.

McDonald suffered major head trauma and was flown to Sutter Roseville by CalStar. Frazer was not seriously injured. Officer Steele says alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision. Both parties were wearing their safety belts.
