Caltrans Promising Shorter Delays on Highway 174

If you were driving Highway 174 near Peardale yesterday, you probably got caught in a construction delay, and were probably pretty upset about it. Delays were running 20 minutes or more due to one-way controlled traffic. That project is continuing today, but Caltrans spokeswoman Liza Whitmore says they’ve tried to make the delays shorter…

Whitmore says Caltrans is assisting P-G-and-E, which is doing tree-removal work….

Whitmore says the project on Highway 174 between North Meadow Drive and You Bet Road will continue during business hours tomorrow and should wrap up on Monday.
