CalTrans Worker Assaulted on Highway 20

A CalTrans worker assaulted on Highway 20 near Scotts Flat Road Thursday around 12:10PM. A string of CalTrans vehicles and a CHP Unit were working in that area.

CHP Officer Greg Tassone says at that point the man became violent.

That’s when the CHP officer raced to the front and intervened.

The suspect 59 year old Tommy Warren wasn’t quite done yet.

Warren was eventually booked on a number of misdemeanors and felony including battery, and resisting arrest, and other related charge.
