If you want to hear from the candidates running for State Senate District 1, which includes Nevada county, you can come to the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum tonight, April 18th.

League of Women voters Publicity Co-Chair Mary Jane Huenergardt  says she will be moderating the event tonight , but they have received confirmations from only two of the three candidates running.

Steven Baird currently works as the information technology division chief for the Sacramento County department of technology’s customer support department, according to his campaign website. Rob Rowen is an active supporter of the State of Jefferson movement.
