Car Burns on Grass Valley Offramp

Traffic was blocked for a short time after a vehicle fire on the Golden Center Freeway at McKnight Way. Consolidated Fire Department Batallion Chief Jim Turner says they got the call yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, and found the vehicle fully engulfed.

The accident did partially block the eastbound ramp. Smoke and flames were getting into the passenger compartment. Turner says the vehicle is a total loss.
