Car Into Tree on Highway 20 Tuesday Night

More damage related to the high winds Tuesday. An accident on Highway 20 near the Conservation Camp after sunset.

As a result the Toyota Landcruiser hit the tree, initial reports stating the vehicle was airborne after striking the tree. However, Barnthouse says its likely the vehicle went over the tree.

Barnthouse says it was an unfortunate sequence of events.

The tree had apparently fallen recently and had not been reported as a traffic hazard prior to the collision.
