A local man learned he should not drive a car when his driver license is suspended. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a deputy stopped a car Monday afternoon at the Brunswick and Greenhorn Road intersection in Grass Valley. The Sheriff says the driver was found to have a suspended license.
The man will have to pay for the towing and for each day of storage for thirty days before he can get his car back. Because of overcrowding at the jail, the man received a citation for the misdemeanor crime of driving on a suspended license.
