Car Runs Off Road on Idaho-Maryland

Another case of drivers on drugs. A car was reported off the road and into the brush on Idaho Maryland Road close to Banner Lava Cap Road Wednesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol responded, and found an unresponsive man behind the wheel. Officer Greg Tassone says fortunately, the car had not stuck anything.

Andrews-McFarland,-Shawn1Because of his incapacitated condition, medical personnel took 42 year-old Shawn Andrews-McFarland to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Tassone says further investigation led to drug related charges.

After receiving medical clearance, Andrews-McFarland was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
