Car versus Tree on Red Dog Rd

A Nevada City man is suspected of being under the influence when he ran off the road and hit a tree. Officer Dina Hernandez says a 68 year old Nevada City man lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe on Red Dog Road near Pasquale Road Tuesday evening. Officer Hernandez says the man hit a tree causing major damage to the SUV.

The driver was not seriously injured in the accident. He was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
