Caring and Sharing Needs Your Help

The Grass Valley Police Officers Association is trying to make Christmas special for a number of children within Grass Valley, but they need the public’s help. As part of Caring and Sharing the Officers Association have placed a Wishing Tree in the lobby of the Grass Valley Police Department.*

Association representative, Sgt Alex Gammelgard, says that because the lobby isn’t open on weekends or 24/7 during the week, there are still a number of tags on the tree.

The police officers are hoping that every name is selected from the tree and a gift provided for each child.
Gammelgard says that if you bring a gift by the station during off hours, please press the red call button so that an officer can receive the gift from you. The lobby of the police department should be open by 9:00 AM on Monday December 2. The Association would like to have all gifts turned into the department, un wrapped,  by 4:00 PM Wednesday December 4 so that officers can prepare them for the big event Saturday morning December 7. Any and all help for the children of Grass Valley is greatly appreciated.
