Carjackers Arrested in Tahoe

Three men who wouldn’t pay for their cab ride ended up going to jail for much more serious offenses in Tahoe City. According to Placer County Sheriff Sgt Dave Hunt, the three men refused to pay for a cab ride from Truckee to Tahoe City. When the cab driver confronted the men, the incident escalated.

The subjects didn’t stop with not paying their fare and assaulting the driver.

Suspects 33 year old Brian Connoy, 32 yr old Arthur Parker, and 26 year old Russell Robertson were booked for carjacking, auto theft, and conspiracy.
