Cascade Shores Homeowners Host Wildfire Prevention Education Day

The Cascade Shores Homeowners are hosting a Wildfire Prevention Education day for the community this Saturday.

Event organizer Joan Hardy says the event will include speakers on various aspects of fire prevention.

They will also be showing a movie on surviving wildfire.

During the past two years, the Cascade Shores Firewise Community Committee has accomplished many projects that have worked towards fire safety awareness and reduced hazardous fuel loading for forest fires in the community.

The Wildfire prevention education day is this Saturday, June 20 from 10 am to 1 pm at the firehouse on Pasquale Road in Cascade Shores.
