Casino Incident Ends In Shoe Store

An incident that began in the Grass Valley card room ended in a business on Mill street with a Burbank man going to jail. Grass Valley Police Sgt Steve Johnson says the series of events began at 1:30 PM Tuesday afternoon in the Towers Casino in Grass Valley.

The suspects behavior then escalated.

The employee called 911 and the suspect fled the building.  Witnesses say the suspect was being belligerent to shoppers in the area. Police responding to the call spotted the suspect on the streets. The suspect ran from the officer.

The suspect 32 year old Jesse Ward of Burbank, California was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional facility for allegedly making criminal threats.
