Cat and Mouse, Turns Hide and Seek, Ends with Arrest

It began a lot like a game of Cat and Mouse… then transitioned to Hide and Seek.. and ends with a suspect going to jail. Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says that an officer on patrol on Sutton Way spotted a male subject he recognized.

The activity then transitioned to Hide and Seek.

Additional law enforcement officers arrived from both Grass Valley and the Sheriff’s Office, and help came from a nearby citizen.

And Hide and Seek ended with the suspect in custody.

Jonathan Eelkema was booked on three warrants and obstructing a peace officer.
