Catnap in Car Leads to Night in Jail

A suspect driver sleeping in his vehicle ended up spending the night in jail. Early Saturday morning a Nevada County Sheriff deputy patrolling in the area of Banner Mountain Trail at Deer Creek came upon a parked vehicle with an apparent unconscious driver. Undersheriff Joe Salivar says that the deputy made a welfare check on the driver.

Aaron Heasely, 28 of Nevada City was taken into custody on drug related charges and additional vehicle violations for registration violations.
