Center 48 Bear River 17

The Bear River Bruins suffered their first loss of the season, losing the Pioneer Valley League opener 48-17 to the Center Cougars. The Bruins might have lost more than just the football game as Tre Maronic, their leading scorer and defender, left the game with a shoulder injury. The Bruins will try to regroup when they face Lindhurst High in PVL action next Friday.
