Center for Hope Nears Completion

Community Recovery Resources Staff have been providing guided tours of the soon-to-be-complete Center for Hope in Grass Valley, on the corner of Sierra college and E. main Street.  Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner was toured through the campus by Warren Daniels, CEO, and Ariel Lovett, Deputy Director, for Community Recovery Resources (CoRR), under which the Center for Hope will be operated upon its completion in September, 2012.

The Center for Hope is a 37,000 square foot, four building facility that will serve an estimated 2,000 people annually in recovering from substance dependence and related mental health disorders. Sheriff Bonner was impressed with the possibilities for the region.

The facility boasts state-of-the-art amenities, and serves as a comprehensive wellness center focused on substance abuse recovery and mental health. The services provided by the center will include therapy, counseling, psychiatric, residential and medical services, together with programs that promote self-sufficiency (education, transitional housing, employment and life-skill training). The Center for Hope is expected to open later this year.
