Cheapest Gas Approaching Three Dollars a Gallon

Even if you get the cheapest gasoline, you are almost paying three dollars a gallon in Nevada County right now. The price for Regular at the ARCO A-M-P-M in Grass Valley was two dollars, 96-point-nine cents a gallon this morning. That’s up eight cents from last week, and 36 cents a gallon from two weeks ago. It’s also 61 cents a gallon higher than at this time last year. Officials say you can blame oil refineries in Texas shut down by Hurricane Harvey.
