Sheriff deputies following up on a South County investigation Saturday were surprised when a male subject answered the door covered with blood.

Sheriff Keith Royal says the subject, 26 year old Timothy Woolley, said that his girlfriend had gotten upset with him and attacked him because he was seeing her best friend. At that time deputies contacted his girlfriend also at the residence, 20 year old Julianna Risdal, and took her into custody for domestic violence. However, deputies noticed some injuries on her body.

The couple were both arrested for domestic violence. The deputies noticed that the living conditions were of poor quality and the couple had a nine month old child.

Deputies also located items indicating the sale and transportation of marijuana.
The child was taken into custody and transferred to Child Protective Services. Both Woolley and Risdal were booked on marijuana related charges, domestic violence, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and child abuse.
