CHP Arrest Brothers in Stolen Vehicle

Two brothers in custody for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. The incident began when Nevada County Sheriff deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle in the mobile home park on Little Valley Road just south of Grass Valley. Deputies contacted the CHP for assistance around 11:00 AM.

CHP Officer Greg Tassone says that officers made contact with the occupants and checked license and registration.

The stolen vehicle is a four door 1994 Honda Civic, a car that is a common target for thieves.

19 year old Cole Vartanian and his 21 year old brother Cyrus Vartanian were booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for possession of a stolen vehicle.
