CHP Arrest Two in Seperate Incidents

The CHP took two individuals into custody in separate incidents Wednesday evening.  One arrest occurred in Grass Valley around 9:45 PM. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the incident began as a routine traffic stop near Brunswick and Idaho Maryland roads.

Schultz,-JoeShultz was ultimately arrested for transportation of marijuana for sale and possession of a loaded firearm and related charges as well as driving without a license.
A few hours earlier, just before 5:00 PM a hit and run incident occurred in Penn Valley at Highway 20 and Penn Valley Drive.

Officers made contact with the suspect driver at the residence.

In both cases the the drivers were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Nevada County Jail.
